J.W.W. ON SYDNEY DOMAIN. SYDNEY, July 28. The Industrial Workers of the World on Sunday held 'its first meeting in the Domain since 1917, whe.i it was declared an illegal organisation. Hie speakers declared that the objective was to strife, strikes aa<. job control, and to intensity class war. The police took the names of the speakers. DEATH SENTENCE COMMUTED. (Received July 28 at. 8.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 28. The Cabinet Ims commuted the dc.ltn sentence on Oakes, passed c.i June 39 to imprisonment for life, for the murder of a young woman, whom lie deceived.
