LONDON, July 27.

The members of an outing club in connection with a Bristol publie house were motoring up Ilarptree Hill, one of the most, severe gradients in the Mendips, when their ear got out of the driver’s control, and rushed down at a terrifying speed. The driver was unable to negotiate a sharp bead at the foot, and the charabanc turned over, pinning many of the passengers beneath, and killing three. All the oth ers, twenty in number, were severely injured.
