FRANCIS AND CLINTON. Combining apparently impossible feats of equilibrism and acrobatics with clean and clever comedy work, there is no more popuar turn throughout tho Fuller circuit in Australia and New Zealand than that presented by those extraordinary artists, Francis and Clin ton Almost incredible stunts are accomplished with an ease, dexterity and sang froid which evoke enthusiastic receptions everywhere the turn is pre sented, while their original comedy causes continuous laughter. Head-lin ers such as these are rarely seen on the West Coast and Coasters are in for something unusual this week. Wheni visiting Christchurch recently, Mr A. Beban saw the turn of Francis and Clinton at Fuller’s Opera House, ami he was so impressed by its worth that he immediately suggested a West Coast engagement. Prior engagements in the South, including Dunedin, made a postponement necessary, but this clever couple will arrive from Christchurch by to-morrow's express, and will open at the Miners’ Hall, Runanga, this evening. The turn will be staged at Greymouth Opera House on Wed nesday and Thursday evenings, other Coast dates being announced later. It is quite certain that Francis and Clinton will repeat the great success achieved by them everywhere. Their like is not met with frequently, and their cleverness places them out of the ordinary class. Th e turn will appear at Reefton on Friday and at Blackball on Saturday.
