IO AVOID BRITISH TAXES (Received June 30 at 8.40 p.m.) LONDON, Juno 30. There have been strange scenes m the London Air Station, where an unprecedented number of air expies es are arriving from the continent with artificial silk and gold watches. I in view of the higher taxation coming into force to-morrow. The customers are also taxed to the utmost to accommodate the un usual amount of imports brought for the purposes of avoiding the extra duties, including hundreds of pianos I from Germany
