BARRYTOWN NOTES
FARMERS’ INION (Our own Correspondent). A largely attended meeting ot the Barrytown branch of the Farmers Union was held on Wednesday evening at Messrs Nelson and Richards residence. It was decided to appoint Mr H. Olney as delegate from the Barrytown branch of the Farmers Union to proceeed to Wellington with the Buller Progress League delegation on the matter of speeding up the construction of the GrcyWestpol’t coastal road and the Buller Jnangahua railway. A number i-.t other important matters were Iso dealt with. Mr. ('. S. Dalgliesh, Fields Instil '■ tor, visited Barrytown district < n Friday last and gave an interesting demonstration on experimental plots.
