R.S.A. ENQUIRY. WELLINGTON, June 30. The local branch of the R.S.A., discussed the Dominion Council’s findings on Col. McDonald’s charges (regarding treatment of mental eases), which in almost every ease were subtained. Opposition was offered to the Council’s verdiet, but the mover could not obtain a seconder. Col. McDonald himself wrote ami said that in one case a document was falsified. Influence had been used to burke discussion. Eventually it was pointed out that the Council still had the matter in hand, and the meeting could not do anything one way or other, and this view was accepted.
