WAIUTA NOTES
(Our Own Correspondent.) Matron Gre; '• has returned from annual holidays spent in Canterbury. Sister Anderson has left to join lhe vtaff of the Reef ton Hospital. A quiet but pretty wedding took place at Ahaura on Saturday last, April 18th, the contracting parties being Betty, second daughter of Air and Airs Oliver Young, of “Bromhill,” Northumberland, England. and Sydney Gordon, fourth son of Mr and Mrs Alfred Ward, Beaufort, Victoria. The bride, was neatly attired in a fawn wool costume, with hat to match. Mr J. Dinis and Airs Beckwith attended the bridegroom and bride respectively. In the evening, on the return of the party to Waiuta, Air and Airs Beckwith entertained a number of guests in their honour. AVe arc to be favoured with a visit from Afr J. O’Brien. M.P.. on Sunday next. Afr O’Brien will speak at tho hall at 2 p.m., when a good muster is expected. \ number of Waiuta residents visited Reefton for the races on Wednesday. Afr and Mrs H. Lewis have left for Waihi, where they will in future reside.
