O‘Neill and L. Blundell were appointed council motor drivers, and Mr. W. T. Pickering, of Te Kinga, was appointed roadman at Inchbonnie. A a opinion from Mr. W. J. Joyce, tho council's solicitor, was read regarding draining and water supply at Blackball. This was to the effect that a poll of ratepayers in the district was necessary, the ratepayers concerned being required to bear the cost. —The matter was left in the hands of tin* engineer.
