SEVERAL TRANSFERS. Postal Department transfers announced are as follow: — Mi- I) M. Mackintosh, postmaster at Dannevirke, succeeds Mr Mathieson as chief postmaster at Greymouth. Mr 11. E. Fildes, chief postmaster at Westnor’t, succeeds Mr W. T. Johnston ils assistant postmaster at Christchurch. \V. penlington, chief postmaster at Napier, has been promoted ehief postmaster at Dunedin, vice Mr A. E. Macgregor, retired. Mi A. Mathieson, at present chief postmaster at Grey mouth, replaces Mr Penlington ns chief postmaster at Ntipier. r || p. Donald, chief: postmaster at Timaru, succeeds Mr J. E. Broadfoot, chief postmaster at Uhristdiurch, who is retiring in June. Mr AV. T. Johnston, assistant post, master at Christchurch, replaces Mr Donald at Timaru. Mr J N- Neville, supervisor at the Telegraph Counter, Wellington, succeeds Mi’ Williams at Lyttelton, who is retiring at the end of the present month. y| r ]) p. Dnvies, postmaster :■> Rangiora, is promoted to chief post, master at West port. Mr J. V. Lawes, postmaster at Otahuhu, succeeds Mr Davies as post master at Rangiora. Mr V. Brooks, postmaster at Roto, run, has been promoted to chief postmuster at Blenheim, vice Mr A. Dawsou, promoted postmaster at I almeiston North.
