Rivers) and Mr P. Twomey, youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr I). Twomey, of Cronadun. The bride wore a dainty frock of white crepe-de-Chine with tire lace edged with pearls, tulle veil with sprays of orange blossom, and carried a very beautiful bouquet of white and yellow flowers, asparagus and maidenhair fern Miss Alice Rivers was bridesmaid, wearing a frock of pink satin with overdress of maize cire lace and black hatters’ plush hat ami tarried a beautiful bouquet. Mr D. T\v<nney attended his brother. The Rev. Father Her ring performed the ceremony and celebrated Nuptial Mass. The service was choral, the bride having been a member of the choir for a ■•onsiiier.al>!e period. The bride’s parents entertained the wedding party at brc.-.kl'ast at their residence, and the happy couple, who received many presents, loft later on their honeymoon for Dunedin, prior to taking up their residence at Hokitika.
