WAR MEMORIAL.
HALL OPENED AT AHAURA. It was a red letter day in Ahnura annals yesterday on the occasion of the formal opening of the war mcmcr-i ial hall erected by the residents to > commemorate the fall in Die late war| of the soldiers from that district, i Many visitors came .'Tom erreymouth i and elsewhere, numerous motors Icing in evidence. The function was rem-1 porarily interrupted by rain, but prov-, cd a great success, concmd ng at 4.30 • p.m. In the evening the fall w;.s, opened with a grand social which was crowded and proved a memorable success.
