THE SNAPSHOTS.

TTi-e Snapshots made their final appearance in Greymouth last evening, at the Town Hall, in their return visit, and performed io a most enthusiastic audience, who were prodigal with I heir applause. The performers, on their side of the footlights, wereequally generous in their response. The whole programme was up to the high standard set at the- previous entertainments. The ensemble work, in particular, was good, especially in the Alusical Restaurant, the Grand Opera suena from “('avallcria Rusticana.” <xhl the Medley Chorus of National airs. The “King Pin” of the party. Leonard Nelson, received a right rova 1 reception the moment he appeared on. Ih-e stage, all his items being applauded to the echo—a high tribute to the man, who by his prowess, unaided by make up or costume of any kind, can “hold” the audience, as lie does. His “Aly Pal is the Lamp Post,” “Eat. Less Bread,” “Right-0,” “The .Dream,” and rf Dicken” (by request) made one realise that the dinkuni comedian is a “rare avis ’’ even in tile professional world. Th-e auctlenco was loth to part with him, and clamoured for more. George Sliarratt’s dissertation to music on the "Bulgarian Bug,” was clever, and he got all liis comedy work “over.” Anuerin Morris gave a pleasant reading of "La Donna Mobile,” for which he received an insistent encore. Of the ladies, Miss Hazel Fuller had perhaps the most to do. She showed considerable dramatic ability in her "Bomanza” in the Operatic scena, and her “Kiss or Miss” was captivatingly sung-. Her voice is of soprano quality, resonant, of good range, and always pleasing to the ear. Aliss Bose Fitzgerald sang. “My Dear Soul” with good feeling, and fully merited her recall. Beattie Wenben in "Buttercups,” and “Three Picanninies” instilled sonic good humour into her singing. The Company appears at Runaiiga to-night, where, after their success in Greymoutli. a bumper house will certainly await them. Bunauga likes good entertainment, and the Snapshots of 1922 will "deliver the goods.”
