I BOUNDARY ARMAMENTS. [A. and N.Z. Cable Association.] NEW YORK, July 13. The Premier of Canada, Mr McKenzie King, and Mr fir: ham, Minister of Defence, railed on Mr Hughes and also met .Me.ssrs Hoover, Weeks, Mellow and other members of the United States Cabinet. They also talked 1 with several Senators. Mr McKenzie King has proposed that the century-old Bush-Bagot Treaty limiting tin* armaments on the St. Lawrence and the great lakes, be modernised, and put i lithe form (if a new permanent treaty. He said that he wanted to see the new treaty of good- ' will and friendship between the na- ; tions, and ; n expression of the nega- ] tions of armaments to ninth degree.
