TAILORS SLACK.
CHEAPER SUITS LOOKED FOR. SYDNEY, July 12. Tailors complain that the trade has assumed an unwanted phase. While the ready-made order shops cannot secure sufficient hands to keep pace with orders, the measured suit trade is slacker than for many years. Employers are mystified as to whether the cause is attributable to dull times, or is the reflex of the opinion that prices will be easier when German goods re-enter the I market in August.
