HUGE FIRE.

400 BUILDINGS. NEW YORK. June 16. A wind whipped up a lire at the seaside resort of Averne at Long Isl: nd, near the city, and it burned 400 buildings, including many hotels. Sixty persons were injured, and 20,000 are left temporarily homeless. The fire razed half a square mile and did damage to the extent of $4,000,000.
