HIGHER ON THE WHOLE. SYDNEY, June 7. The figures issued by the Government Statistician show that the price of meat for May was 11 per cent, higher than in July 1914. Groceries were 64 per cent, higher compared with May 1921. and meat 231 per cent., cheaper. Both items have fallen 24 per cent. since ■he previous month.
