ASSESSMENT COURT.
FURTHER CASES. Some timber cases were settled out of court by arrangement between Air Afackie and Air F. A. Kitchingham (representing the proprietors concerned). The various cases were as follows:— Air R. AlcDonuld, section of 32 perches, Blackball township. Capital value £21.5, unimproved ■value £2O, value of improvements £195; valuation sustained. Edmund Stratford, -100 acres, capital value £550, unimproved value £4OO, value of improvements, £100; valuation sustained. James Wade, 593 acres, valuation sustained. Forest Sawmilling Company, 31.0 acres, value of land and timber reduced from £6OO to £lOO respectively. Estate of Clement Parfitt, capital value, £ll5O, unimproved value £BB5, value of improvements £265; reduced, to, capital value £855, unimproved value £570, and value of improvements £265. Stratford, Blair and Co., value of land reduced from £1719 to £7OO and value of timber from £1749 to £7OO. To Kinga Sawmilling Company, value of land reduced from £1628 to £12222 and value of timber from £3.15 to £236. J. E. Wade 335 acres, valuation reduced from £5OO to £230. Alidland Sawmilling Company, 540 acres, value of land reduced from £405 to £270, and value of timber from £lOOO to £B2O.
