CUSTOMS REDUCTIONS.

N.Z. IMPORTERS SCORE. WELLINGTON, June 2. The New Zealand Customs tariff on several lines of goods has been reduced as from yesterday. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Customs Duties Amendment Act, passed last session. It stated that, as a result of the pending reductions, a large quantity of goods that, in the usual way, would have been cleared during May, have been allowed to remain in bond.
