LOADING OF OLD WOOL.
WATERSIDERS SECURE SPECIAL TERMS. NAPIER, May 29. The watersiders of Napier refused to accept work this morning in the loading of 26,000 bales of Government wool, which wool litis been in store here for several years. It was contended by the workers that thi 1 wool is dirty. The men, thc-refore, demanded (>d an hour extra. A compromise was effected by the employers, who ofiered to pay the difference between the Arbit r: tion award and the compensation for accident pay ment to all, who sulfur from poisoning, as the result of handling this wool.
