SOUTH-WEST AFRICA.
NATIVES OPPOSE BRITISH DOMINATION. (Received May 29, 5.5 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, May 28. A message from the Administrator, at Windhoek in the South-West Protectorate, states that, while the British forces have been successfully occupying strategical positions near Kalkfonteiu that are necessary for co-operation with the British Air Force, the rebel Bondolswartz natives have been encountered in strong numbers. They are well armed. These enemy natives opened fire. After a sharp skirmish, four were killed and-nine men taken prisoner. The British Government forces lost oue killed. It is believed the rebels are now making towards the Orange River.
