PEERLESS PICTURES.
E<lna Murphy and Johnnie Walker, whom William Fox has ere' ted stars, will be shown at the Town Hall tonight in their first picture “Live Wires,” Johnnie won his elevation by his remarkably fine work in “Over the Hill,” one of the few great pictures of the year ami which has been running to crowded houses on Bro: dway nearly a year. Edna was in “Over the Hill,” too, but didn’t have so big a part. This pair make a very clever ami likeable team. They give splendid entertainment in “Live Wire-:.” The supporting pictures include a very interesting Burton Holmes travel picture and the latest Gazettes. A double star programme will be screened on Wednesday, the first feature being “A Dark Lantern,” starring Alice Brady. The other big picture is “Jenny Be Good,’’ starring Mary Miles Minter. In her new Realart picture Mary Allies Alinter plays a sympathetic role tint appeals to the best in womanhood. It is a play in which life’s lights and shadows are vividly brought out and the extremes of society poignantly contrasted.
