PORT OF GREYMOUTH TIDES.

ARRIVALS. MAY 28. Titoki, 5.8., 250 tons, frum Nelson. Kakapo, 5.9., 1521 tons, from Westport. Ngahore, s.s., 680 tons, from Gisborne. Wanganui, a.s., from Bluff. DEPARTURES. MAY 27-28. IN PORT.

Progress, Kamo, Orepuki, Ngahore, Titoki (steam), Wanganui (sail). EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Regulus, to-day, from Wellington. NOTES. The Titoki, the Anchor Company’s new vessel (a description of which was given in this column some weeks ago) arrived last evening from Nelson. She brings general cargo and will run the same ports as the other Anchor vessels now trading with Greymouth. She loads co: 1 for Nelson. The Kakapo arrived yesterday from i West port bringing general cargo from Timaru, Onniaru and Lyttelton. She discharges and loads coal at this port. The schooner Wanganui arrived yesterday from Bluff, which port she left about a fortnight ago. She carries a number of hardwood poles for discharge here. The Orepuki is expected to sail to , day for Lyttelton with a cargo of timThe Regulus is due to-day from Nelson and Westport with general cargo. The Ngaherc arrived from Gisborne on Saturday. She will load coal hero for the north, sailing to-night. The Progress is loading coal and timber for Tieton and is expected to sail for that port to-day. The Anchor Company’s steamer Ngaio will be laid up on Wednesday next, for annual overhaul and Government inspection. The Ngaio will be laid up for three or four weeks, during which time the Wellington-Nelson service will be maintained by the steamers Nakau and Kaitoa, assisted if found necessary, by the Alexander.
