The Alexander sailed yesterday morning laden with coal for Pieton. The Progress arrived from Picton yesterday morning with a quantity of general cargo. This is the vessel’s first visit to the port since she was converted into a steamer. She will load coal and return to Picton. The Kamo is due from Wellington and will come in this morning. She will load coal and return. The Waipori left Wellington at 6.10 a.m. yesterday for Greymouth and will arrive here this morning. The vessel is to load coal at this port.
