Lancashire scored 160 for two wickets agains Worcester, and declared. Makepeace scored 162, and Hallows’ 179 not out. Worcester were dismissed for 289 and 96. Parkin took seven wickets for 23 runs. Oldfield, of the Australian Eleven, has boon invited to play for the Commons against the House of Lords on June 15. Oldfield leaves for Sydney at the end of June.
