BLACKBALL ENGAGEMENTS. The Blackball League Football teams are engaged as under:; — May 20,—Seniors \. Runanga. at Greymouth: Juniors v. Briinn-er, at Blackball; Third Grade v. Kohinoor at Grey mouth. On Sunday the Blackball Soccer team play Greymouth at Blackball. UNDER LEAGUE RULES. NELSON CREEK 11. (Hi v. RUNANGA 11. (3). Runanga juniors met Neb-on Creek at Nelson Creek on Sumlav and suffered defeat at the hands of the latter by H points to three. Although the day w:i • line the ground was very slippery after the recent rain and the ball w; s, in consequence, diflicult to handle. The Runanga team contested the Manic throughout and made the Nelson Cree 1 win : 1 ard-earned one. The next meet ing of those teams will be interesting it it be on a dry ground.
