N.S.W. LOAN.
FULLER JUBILANT. SYDNEY, May 5. Sir G. W. Fuller is jubilant at obtaining a London loan at a bettor price than either New Zealand or the Commo iwealth had to pay. He expects the issue will work out on a better basis tlmta five per cent at par, and claims that this is one of the first results of a return to sane government. The kejnote of economy and financial reconstruction struck by the Coalition Government had its effects, and money in future would undoubtedly be easier to obtain for the State on the London market. Tjhe “Herald” says: The terms obtained arc evidence of the easiness of morspy in London, and the desire to invest: in Dominion securities. SYDNEY, May 5. The new loan floated in London is intended for conversion purposes, as £6,900,000 of various loans is falling due Iby October 2.
