N.S.W. ELECTIONS.
LABOUR MINISTERS’ ELECTION. (Received April lat 5..5 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 1. The allotment of preference votes in the N.S.AV. Elections is proceeding. Tn several •electorates, the counting has been completed. There is no change in the Party positions. Air Simon Hickey, who briefly occupied the Speaker’s chair, on the resignation of . Air Levy, was defeated for Botany. For Botany electorate a Labour candidate, Air AV. Ratcliffe, topped the poll, beating Hon Air. Alutch (Alinister of Education) and Air AlcKcll (Alinister of Justice). The last named just scraped home, being without the quota. Air Cann (Alinister of Alines) is the fifth member to be elected for St George. He also got in without the quota.
