BANKRUPT CHARGED.

BREACHES OF ACT. MASTERTUTT, March 28. Four charges in connection with alleged breaches of the Bankruptcy Act were preferred against Ernest Robert Ward, carrier, of Masterton, in the Supreme Court. The informations were (laid by Arthur D. Low, Deputy Offi- | cial Assignee. Burridge represented the Deputy Official Assignee, and Mr R. McKenzie appeared for the accused. | In outlining his case, Mr Burridge (said that under the Bankruptcy Act it was incumbent cn men in business to keep a proper set of books to show their financial position.
