MASSEY’S TOUR.

COMPLIMENTS FOR AUCKLAND FARMERS. KAWAKAWA, March 28. The Primo Minister was entertained by the Directors of the Auckland Fanners Freezing Coy. at their new Moerewa works to-day. Tile Prime Minister congratulated the farmers and settlers on their enterprise. He spoke hopefully of the future generally. As far as markets were concerned, he considered that wool was not yet at top price. He also predicted a better future for beef. He urged the use of the Narua phosphates. He hoped in the near future to improve on the railways. In the afternoon, he received a number of deputations at Kawakawa, and was entertained at dinner in the evening. He was the guest of Mr Vernon Reed, of Paiha, for the night.
