MT. MULLIGAN DISASTER
THE CAUSE. BRISBANE, Dec 3. The Mt. Mulligan Mine Disaster Commission have reported that the r cause was the firing of explosives in 1 the top level of the block. The cxi I plosive was not placed in the shot holes ! and was carried and stored underl- ground in a careless manner. There t was no adeijuatc safeguard to render - the dust innocuous, as required by the regulations.
