But os's weather report states: The atmospheric 'pressure has decreased steadily in the north and moderate to strong north-east winds luivc prevailed northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and south-easterlies elsewhere. Cloudy and hazy conditions Jhavc becii experienced |ii most parts, 'and rain has fallen in the northern portion of the North Island. The present indications arc i'ov high northeast to south-east -winds, and cloudy unsettled weather,, Avith rain generally. Heavy- rain, -with rivers .'rising, maybe expectoft on the northern and east coast districts of the North Island. The barometer -will fall further everywhere.
