CANOE CREEK.

Canoe Creek has a flume of about 44 miles made of timber on a benched line and would have to be reconstructed. 200 chains of piping ranging from 22in to 18in. diameter extending to the coast line, having a head of 600 feet. The pipes now in place are of little value and if Canoe Crook should be selected by the Government it wouid mean a complete new plant. If power should be established at oither point it could be sent along the coast to the settlers for their several purposes all being on the main road.
