DUNEDIN TOURNEY. EVANS BEATS 4JEEN. . (Special to "Argus.") DUNEDIN, November 25. A large crowd- attended the boxing tournament held by the Otago Association in His Majesty's Theatre tonight. In two six-round specials, Mitchell (9.3) beat Harris (10.3), and Campbell (5.6) beat McDonald. The decision in the second bout was badly received. The staa 1 item ,o.f the evening was a 15-fourid professional contest between "Digger" Evans (9.3) and Havilab Uren (9.6). The contest went the full distance, Evans being crowned the winner on ; j>oints. The fight was willing from 'the word <-go". Evans's splendid defensive tactics won him the fight. Uren did not show half the form displayed at rGeymouth. He missed several opportunities for the k.0., his punches throughout Jacking sting. He also tired towards the finish. '
