RETURN MATCH WITH UEEN
ARRRANGED
("Sydney Referee," November 3.) Billy Shade and his wise pal, Jim Gilfcathcr, loft Sydney on Sunday night to sec the Cup. They will return this week-end.

This becauso it looked as if they might have to wait long and, perhaps, vainly for another match with Tommy Urea, and there did not seem to be anything else in view.
Until TJrcn arrived last week no ono appeared to know exactly what had become of him. They merely knew he was in New Zealand' somcwheTe.
There were other things which caused the pair to look homeward longingly—particularly was it so with Billy Shade, who is yet little more than a boy. He would stop and wax serious while a suggestion of gloom passed athwart his countenance and remarK, "Gee its getting aiear Christmas, isn't it?"
,The failure to materialise of that New Zealand contract— £looo for three fights— flaunted before their minds for. a week or two was another source of disappointment.
The situation has, however, changed. I discussed the position with the two Americans,"" and succeeded in persuading them to look at it differently, especially as the Stadium management was ready to make the way clear with regard to expenses. '
Billy Shade will, early next week, begin to prepare himself for his return contest with Tommy Urcn, which all sporting Sydney is looking forward to with unusual interest, _
