COAL SHORTAGE
■ *. : ' CONTROL OF DOMESTIC SUPPLIES. FURTHER REGULATIONS. (Press Associsxtion.) WELLINGTON, June 5. To enable coal committees to have closer control of supplies to householders and to secure an equitable distribution, amended regulations havc^ states Hon Mr Myers been gazetted providing that not mono than ten per cent of coal is be delivered to any one person at any one time, and not more than one ton in any period of twentyeight days (in place of one or two ions respectively as previously . provided. Power is .also provided for the Minister, by notice in the Ga?ettp,to declare that in any areas specified no coal shall^ be delivered without a permit by the Coal Trade Committee of the a:ea. The latter regulation is being enforced in Wellington from Monday next. -
