Sunday's big attraction is "The Family Skeleton" a five-reel Paramount, featuring the idol of millions CHARLES RAY. This picture teems with romance and is complete with sensationalism. Ther? are many delightful touches of comedy, which will be enjoyed by ■ all picture patrons. Sylvia Bremer. the. Australian actress, appears opposite Charles Ray. Miss Bremer will be remembered for her work in Australia with the Muriel Starr Company, in Madame X and other plays. Ray plays the part of Bolly Bates who inherited his father's millions, and imagined lie also inherited his father's craving for drink. The fact that his friends and advisors we.re conntinually warning him against strong drink depresses him and partly to prove them wrong, partly in sheer spirit of braggartism. he proceeds to test himself. His friendß always alluded to him as as a "chip oft" the old block" amd detined him "to follow in his father's footsteps and become an inveterate drunkard. He hyp•aotices himself into the belief that lie is /doomed to go .by the booze route, and the sooner the better. During one of his reckless spells he falls deeply in love with Poppy Dray ton, of the Follies Beauty Chorus. This girl tried a little scheme which worked completely and cured Billy Bates of his imaa:innrv trouble. How can he seen in "The Family Skeleton."
