ABOUT THE STEAMER NAVUA. WELLINGTON. December 4 Sonic alarming rumours have been current hero regarding the Union Company's steamer "Navua." It has been asserted that the vessel has been lying about 500 miles ' away, m a crippled condition, owing to the crew suffering from influenza. M; W. A. Kennedy, the Company's Wellngtc-n Manager, states the rumours ars absolutely foundation less. Tho company has received no word vet of the "Navua 's departure from i'upcclc. where she had been quarantined, owing to the outbreak of milucnza.
