"Her Greatest Love," the special Fox super-feature to bo shown at the Peerless Pictures on Friday evening is an adaption of Ouida's novel, "Moths," and features -Theda Baia in ai role which suits her. admirably. The plot portrays the* episodes that, lead up to the unhappy marriage ot an only' daughter of a society woman, and its tragic sequel. Hazel's mother is a soulless woman who dupes her daughter into wedding a dissolute Russian prince. Hazel really loves de Costa, an eminent singer, and is exceedingly unhappy as the wife of vlie p-ince. Eventually she declares her intention of leaving the prince owing to his Tclatons with, a notorious duchess. The prince thereupon, banishes his wife to one of his palaces in Siberia, where she is kept prisoner. Lord Carter, a friend of her mother's, and do Costa go to Siberia, and endeavour to persuade her to escape, but she declines. Just then the prince arrives, and in a stirring scene nsults Lord Carter, who promptly fells h-m'with a blow. A duel with revolvers is hastily arranged. Both men are fatally wounded, but* Lord Carter lives long enough to wish Hazel and :icr lover a happy future.
