COLLAPSE OF WALL,

WELLINGTON, September 18 During last night's downpour of rain, a resident of the Terrace Gar dens was startled by a loud crash, and investigation showed that a concrete retaining wall at the back of his house had collapsed, bursting in <.ji<? back door and pushing in the walls of the house. A small child narrowly escaped death.
