ATTITUDE OF THE MEN.
WELLINGTON, September 18 The tramway trouble advanced a : funher stage this afternoon. At a special mooting of tho City Council the Tramways -manager" reported that the Union had declined his offer to recommend a bonus of ten per cent on tho ordinary time wages. ' • Tho Council was advised that, the men's lefusal to work overtime was a breach of agreement. It was accordingly decided to cali upon ihe men to cany out their duties in the terms of the agreement.
