(Rec. September 18, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 18. Reuter's correspondent states German prisoners on the British front report that every effort has been made by the Germans to -suppress all news of the American success at St Mihiel in connection with which alarming rumours prevail among enemy troops. The general impression seems to be that the American victory is so overwhelming that the German Army command dare not admit the fact.
