AVIATION REPORT.

(Rec. Sept. 18, 6 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 17. The air report states: "Improving weather has brought a marked inj crease in activity. O n the loth we encountered many hostile machines on the German side of the lines, and there were many combats. We destroyed 21 and drove dow n seven uncontrollable. We brought dow n a large I enemy bomber after dark. Sixteen I British machines are missing. These include two night Hiers. We successfully and foeavily bombed four enemy I aerodromes, one in the daytime and three in the night time. During the past 24 jtiours we dropped 30 tons o f bombs.
