'One of the oldest and most respected resiia-nt d of vie iteeuon district { writes our correspondent) . in the person of Mrs. T. H. Lee, passed away a-o iier residence yesieiaay morning. .Deceased, who latterly had been m delicate" health,'', bore her illness with true Christian, fortitude, .while, every cart* was" H-stpwed on her by her relatives. .' Her de_>th came as the fitting end of a faithful and well-spent life,, she having passed away fortified by. the last sacred rues of the Church, j-j in the hope of a blissful eternity. The jjg late .Mrs Lee, who was <o years of age, was a native of Cloaghau, King's County,; Ireland, and came to the. Coast in the very early days, having been a resident of Reefton for the past forty years. - Her hilsband predeceased her 16 years ago. She leaves two sons, Hubert (sharebroker of Reefton) aiid "John .(cleric for the Consolidated Company) and one daughter, Sister Mary Ignatius,' of tlie Westport Convent of Mercy. . The private internment takes place at 10 a.m. today lit the Suburban Cemetery.
