MEMORIAL TO NEW ZEALANDERS

(Rec. September 14, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 13. The Bishop of Exeter yesterday unveiled a tablet at the parish church at Bere Ferrers, near Plymouth, in memory of the party of New Zealanders belonging to the Twentyeighth Reinforcements who were killed in the railway accident near Plymouth on the 21th of September, 1917. The tablet was erected in admiration of the loyalty and self-sacri-fice of the victims in coming to England to fight for the. freedom of the world.
