A DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.

SAWMILL PLANT AND STOCK. BURNT. AUCKLAND, June 9. A fire on Saturday afternoon resulted in the destruction of the* milling plant and stock of timber of the Onehunga Sawmilling Company. The lire spread with tremendous rapidity, owing to a strong south-west wind which was blowing straight up the harbour, and consumed th© whole of the buildings and plant, as well as the stacks of sawn timber. This includes the planing and moulding, as well as the joinery department. The mill and plant were insured in the Sun Uffice.
