(Rec. March 7, 8.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 6. Wireless, German official: Our positions on the north bank of the Lys were subjected to—'vMent bursts of firing. A strong English attack at Wansten was repulsed. There was hand to hand fighting in pursuance of Finland's request for assistance. Germa,n troops have landed on the Aaland Islands.
