The Lasky paramount, drama "The Golden Fetter,'' along- with its well arranged supports will be presented at McLean's to-night for the last time. WEDNESDAY, A SUPERB FOX' *• STAR. A superb Fox star photoplay will be presented pri Wednesday, when Dorothy Bernard will star in the gigantic fiive reel success, "Sporting Blood" which is sure to appeal to all lovers of the sport, of Kings. The race track scenes were taken at the Springfield ' ' Track, J amaica, Long Island. Specially trained racehorses were engaged for the filming, a large .-numbered of extras were hired to give the required effect. Most of the scenes were 'photographed at an early hour when all actors are supposed to be in bed. The performers had to leave New York at 4 a.m. to be before the cameras . which commenced operations at 6 a.in. Breakfast was served on the track, the actors partaking of ham and eggs, while the boys' breezed the horses. Mrs Riley's itinerant restaurant was utilised to provide the other meals to which the parties found time to devote. The . foregoing will give a fair idea: of the. magnitude of the great sporting drama. A splendid insight is . given intp the conduct of racing on the most popular course's. Very rare- supporting subjects . will also be screened.
