POLLARD'S
MATINEE TO-DAY.
Pollard's usual weekly matinee will be given to-day when the great, Tri- . angle drama, "The Bride of Hate," and the 12th chapter of "Gloria's Romance" will be the star attractions. This great programme, featuring three star artists in Margery Wilson, Biilie Burke, and Frank \ Keenan, will be screened to-night for the last time. SUNDAY EVENING— "JIM GRIMS- . BY'S BOY." A unique Triangle drama, with Frank Keenan and Enid Markey in the principal . roles of the stern old, gruff mountaineer, and the girl who was brought up a boy, will be the star attraction* on Sundwy. Jim Grimsby was the sort of man who had not a* friend on earth. He is a wonderful ful character, this fierce, gruff prospector, and Frank Keenan rises to great heights in his depiction of* the part, and his many quaint sayings are unique., "You knew I wanted a boy, and yon gave me a gal," is his greeting to his wife after the birtn o_ their child. "By Gawd! it can't be a gal— -it's already named Bill! 11l raise it a boy," and he carried out his threat. But as the years went on the woman began to assert herself, and Jim was not satisfied that it was not for the best. The play is by no means of the comedy order, but an emotional drama that appeals to all. Enid Markey, who plays opposite Frank Keenan, is quaintly pretty and full of charm, as the girl-boy. A splendid picture of the bowling tournament in, Wellington is included in the supporting programme. ,
