FURTHER RAINS EXPECTED,

WELLINGTON, July 3. Mr. D. C. Bates reports: Strong westerly winds have prevailed with i cloudy and unsettled weather and rain on all the Western Coast. The barometer has risen in the north but is still low in the south. Present indications are for high westerly winds and boisterous weather with rain on the West Coast and in the southern districts. The barometer will probably fall everywhere and be very lowr in the southern districts.
