AN UNUSUAL CASE,

; WELLINGTON, May 15. A young man born in New Zealand, whoso father was ah unnaturalised German, came before the Military Service Board to-day. He said that he had made repeated attempts to enlist but had been told by the military authorities that they did not want him. He had asked that his namobe removed from the reserve so that he would not be drawn in the ballot, but he had received no reply. The case was adjourned for enquiry.
